Northwest Reign: Celebrating Ten Years in PNW Youth Baseball

For over a decade, Northwest Reign has been a cornerstone of youth baseball in the Pacific Northwest, dedicated to our core values: TEACH. PROVIDE. INSPIRE. Founded by Joey Swanson, former college coach and player, and supported by an experienced staff including former MiLB pitcher John Mattson, our program has developed more than 200 college athletes and countless high school standouts across Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, and beyond.

At Reign, we believe in teaching the game the right way—physically, mentally, and fundamentally—while building confidence and character that extend far beyond the field. Our family-driven culture continues to be fueled by alumni, parents, and players who call Reign their second home. Operating out of the Mariners Training Facility in Tacoma, we provide unmatched coaching, opportunities, and mentorship to prepare players for college-level competition and life’s challenges.
